Call for Submissions: Pocketfest

Featured Student Work: Cara Fischer – Alter the Ending
The College of Charleston Visual Arts Club is partnering with the Village Tavern in Mt. Pleasant to create Pocketfest, a music and arts festival, on November 4-5. We will be holding a curated student exhibition on the wall space inside the venue; all work will be on sale (unless you specify otherwise) and you will receive 100% of the profit. The Village Tavern is also looking for live painters for this event.
If you are interested in submitting work to the off-campus exhibition, email clear, adequately cropped photographs to with the subject “Pocketfest Submission” by October 30 at midnight. The filename should include your name, the title, medium and size of the piece, e.g. YourName_Title_Medium_8x8.jpg. Paintings, drawings, photography and sculpture pieces are all eligible for consideration.
Email us at if you’d like to be involved in this event in any other way, through live painting, craft sales or anything else!
In addition, the Village Tavern is looking for artists who are interested in displaying their work for sale in the venue on a regular basis. Contact us for more info.
